Restaurant Review: The Pub & Cricketers Arms

I loved photographing The Pub. It is a beautiful place to shoot, and I got there at the perfect time, just when the sun was going down and shining through The Pub’s windows. I wish every restaurant was as fun to photograph as this one.

Restaurant Review: Exile Restaurant & Lounge

When a photograph looks a bit different than when you took it and no one knows that but you, do you make a sound?

(It’s not as bright inside Exile as the photo shows. At least when I was there.)

Restaurant Review: Fogo De Chao

A super cool restaurant to photograph. The atmosphere is great with all the gauchos walking around with skewered meats. The staff was excellent, and Paulo, the general manager, was so friendly and accommodating. And the food is delicious too.

Restaurant Review: Holy Smoke BBQ

Super good food and super kind people. Loved photographing this place. I also liked how the paper ran this photo really large.

Restaurant Review: Chef Eddie's

Not the easiest place to photograph. It’s super dark inside and quite spacious.

Restaurant Review: Nacho Mama's

Best restaurant name ever.

Restaurant Review: El Buzo

Photographing this place reminded me of some old friends, especially Scott Semones. It’s in a shopping plaza that’s right by his high school home. There’s a thrift store in this same plaza (the store is still a thrift store, with a different name) that we’d go to and look for “new clothes” (now wearing thrift store clothes kind of grosses me out.) Ahh, memories.

Restaurant Review: Flame Kabob

The name of this restaurant reminds me of Michael Cera’s band in the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I love that movie.

Restaurant Review: Peperoncino

I thought this was my best shot of the restaurant. Good choice, OW.

Restaurant Review: Sushi House

The manager of Sushi house, Dun Chau, is one of the most hospitable people I’ve met. Super nice guy. I can’t help but root for people like Dun. I hope this restaurant is as successful as the other ones he’s run.

Restaurant Review: Deep Blue

Not my favorite photo of the shoot. In fact, I would say that it was the one I liked the least. However, I had a feeling the Weekly would use it.

I agree with your photo choice, OW.
